Everycare Nannies – The Checks We Make
Everycare Nannies in Cardiff, Newport, Bristol, South Wales and M4 Corridor – The Checks We Make
Hiring an Everycare Nanny ensures that you can be confident that your children are in the hands of a professional childcare provider. We have put in place a recruitment process that ensures that we only employ the very best Nannies. This includes taking time to obtain all of the following:
References
Obtaining references is an important safety check on past employment and likely future employability ensuring that all Everycare Nannies have an excellent track record. Written references will always be taken from previous employers but also essential is the verification of these references by talking to the past employers, and asking questions about the abilities of the Nanny.
Document Validation:
Driving license, qualifications, DBS, first aid, CIW, EWC, right to work (passport, visa etc)
All UK employers have a legal duty to make basic document checks on each person they employ. There are many illegal operations providing fraudulent identification and visas and our knowledge of how to ensure such fraudulent identification is identified provides an important safeguard to you. Two proofs of current address are also obtained when we employ a nanny. We also check driving licence details if a nanny is required to drive as part of her role.
DBS Enhanced Disclosure (formerly CRB)
This is a police check on a nanny, but it also checks to see that the nanny has not been entered on a register as not being suitable to work with children. Everycare Nannies obtains a DBS check for all nannies we employ unless the Nanny is already on the Update Service.
